EUROCORR 2026: Exhibiting our cathodic protection capabilities

Another exciting event completed for the CPCL team, this time at EUROCORR 2026 in the historic city of Dublin!

The European Corrosion Conference (EUROCORR) explored every aspect of the wide spectrum of corrosion science, technology and engineering. Bringing together engineers, scientists and experts from across the globe, the event hosted a series of fascinating lectures and keynote speakers.

Live demonstrations and sharing expertise

As delegates swept into Dublin, the team was hard at work setting up the booth - complete with visual displays of our industry-leading field technology. Our Remote Monitoring & Control Systems (RMCS) are an excellent example of the cutting-edge equipment on offer at CPCL.

The RMCS provides essential data for all CP and anti-fouling systems, which can be gathered and processed without the need for a site visit. This provides a reliable, cost-effective data gathering method for our clients. Visitors to the booth were guided through the purpose, functions and results of this incredible technology.

A consistent presence in Ireland

EUROCORR 2026 was an opportunity for the field engineering team to strengthen our professional bond with Ireland. CPCL have a long history of providing highly effective corrosion solutions within the country, including providing cathodic protection on pipeline projects for Gas Networks Ireland (GNI).

As the sole operator of Ireland’s national gas network, GNI ensures that over 720,000 gas customers receive a safe and efficient supply of gas across a 14,781km pipeline network. CPCL conduct state of the art surveys and cathodic protection maintenance throughout the network.

Another successful showcase

EUROCORR 2026 proved to be an extremely fruitful exhibition for the team. From attending absorbing lectures by leading academics, to educating delegates on the functionalities of our field equipment, our engineers have come away with invaluable experience.
