CPCL’s Matt Emery Excels in London Marathon!
Matt Emery, a CP design engineer with the company, took one of the world’s greatest challenges and ran the London Marathon, finishing in a fantastic time of 2 hours 43 minutes and 54 seconds.
Currently based in our Dubai office, Matt flew back just for the event and was clearly delighted with his performance. “It was great to make my marathon debut in London, it’s a truly special race with an amazing crowd. Thank you CPCL for the support and help you provide me with in the lead up to the marathon.”
Matt, when based at the head office in Grantham, was a member of Grantham Athletic Club and a regular runner at events throughout the country. He could frequently be seen running the country lanes near Grantham, in training for his next competition.
Finishing a highly creditable 478th in the men’s race (and 488th overall), Matt has set the benchmark for any future CPCL staff member who would ever dare take the challenge!
