CPCL’s Charity Fundraising Mission!

We are thrilled to announce that Cathodic Protection Co. Ltd (CPCL) is officially launching its 2025 Fundraising Mission in partnership with the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity (ULHC)!

The ULHC is a charity committed to supporting hospitals across Lincolnshire, helping to provide extra care and comfort for NHS staff and patients during some of life’s most difficult moments. CPCL is honoured to support this mission, recognising that every one of our 60 team members has been touched in some way by the care provided by Lincolnshire’s hospitals.

As part of the mission, CPCL will be taking part in a series of exciting events throughout 2025 organised by the ULHC.

Firstly, our Stores Supervisor, Sam Dodwell will be running in the City of Lincoln 10k on the 6th April. Running the scenic route through the historic city, Sam will be pushing himself to the limit to raise vital funds for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity.

On May 17th, CPCL Sales and Marketing Director,  Stuart Martin and former CP Technician, Pete Martin are walking 10 miles through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds with Stuarts wife Natalie, son George, and their spaniel Buddy. Every step counts and every donation makes a difference no matter how big or small.

Finally, a group of 15 determined team members from CPCL are tackling the 5K Tough Mudder at Belvoir Castle—a challenge filled with muddy obstacles that demand strength, teamwork, and resilience! Taking place on the 5th July, the team are preparing themselves for the challenge.

As well as these 3 challenges with more to come, CPCL are also taking part in volunteering for the charity. In December, four CPCL team members volunteered at Grantham Hospital, wrapping over 1,000 blankets for inpatients to open on Christmas Day. It was a small gesture with a big impact, bringing warmth and smiles to those spending the holidays in hospital.

This campaign marks the beginning of our commitment to support the local community for many more years to come. If you’d like to support our mission and those taking part in the challenges, donations can be made through our official appeal page on the ULHC website: Cathodic Protection Co.
