ADMA-OPCO Relationship Continues on the Umm Lulu & NASR Fields
CPCL’s working relationship with ADMA-OPCO on the giant Umm Lulu and Nasr Field Development Projects continues through contractors Pentair and SPP, with the supply of six Cuprion anti-fouling systems for fire water and jockey pumps for Umm Lulu. The Cuprion systems consist of a removable anti-fouling electrode unit and strainer, as specified by the client ADMA-OPCO, and hazardous area-rated control equipment.
For the Nasr field, CPCL has recently supplied eight Cuprion anti-fouling systems for the sea water lift, fire water and jockey pumps on the NASR Field Development Project. Again consisting of a removable anti-fouling electrode unit and strainer, the Cuprion units also contain hazardous area-rated control equipment.
The Nasr Phase II Full Field Development Project, aimed at increasing the field's oil production capacity to 65,000 barrels per day (bpd) from the existing capacity of 22,000bpd, is underway and is expected to conclude in the first half of 2019.
