For decades, Cathodic Protection Co. Ltd and Brown Corrosion Services, Inc. have built an exceptional working relationship from the ground up.

CPCL and Brown Corrosion have a rich shared history, having collaborating on projects and events for many years. From a personal and professional perspective, our partnership with Brown Corrosion has never been stronger.

“To say that many of us grew up together in the corrosion industry would be an understatement,” reveals Jane Brown, CEO of Brown Corrosion Services, Inc. “Since the very beginning, working with CPCL has been a pleasure!”

A shared passion

Brown Corrosion Services, Inc. was founded in Houston, Texas in 1995 by Jerry Brown and daughter Jane. Jerry has extensive experience within the field of internal corrosion monitoring, working with industry giants such as Cosasco, Caproco, Capcis March and CorrOcean. Jane gained invaluable corrosion-based experience at CorrOcean, as well as undertaking dehumidification work at Munters.

“When we started, we intended to focus on internal corrosion monitoring,” explains Jane. “However, we soon expanded to cathodic protection, materials consulting and anti-fouling alongside CPCL. Since then, our collective efforts have seen both companies go from strength to strength – Jerry has never missed a NACE or AMPP conference in over 50 years!”

Dedication to the fight against corrosion is the hallmark of our partnership with Brown Corrosion.

Fostering a collaborative spirit

Since 2009, our two like-minded companies have completed a wide range of projects in tandem. The first combined venture was for Technip, a global service provider for the energy sector. We installed a first deck mounted skid for anti-fouling purposes on the BHP Angostura Platform in Trinidad.

“This first major project has led to many further successful joint ventures,” shares Jane. “From establishing an intake system for NextDecade in the Rio Grande river, to pump mounted systems in the Gulf of Mexico, we have been diligently cooperating and sending business back and forth for decades.”

A bright future

Our partnership with Brown Corrosion has never been stronger. Recently, we worked together to exhibit at the 2026 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. Dedicated to promoting fire safety, this world-class event brought thousands of delegates from 88 countries to the iconic city.

Together with Brown Corrosion, we made our debut – meeting with representatives of several high-profile organisations and discussing the crucial fire safety capacity of our anti-fouling solutions.
