A fond farewell to our Managing Director

After nearly 18 years as Managing Director of Cathodic Protection Co Limited, Rob Holden has taken the decision to retire, he will be leaving the company on the 22nd of October 2021.

Rob said the following about his departure:

‘CPCL’s core values are Innovation, Performance, Teamwork, Value, and Customer Focus. These values have served us well for 70 years and in-particular during the last 18 months. I would like to take this opportunity to thank colleagues and friends in the industry for their support during my time with CPCL’.

Rob will be replaced as Managing Director by Chris Martin; Chris started in the CP industry in 2004, starting as a field technician before joining Cathodic Protection as part of the purchase of Cath-Tech,  working his way up to running our Field Engineering team from 2013 before taking on the role of Operations Director in 2018.

Chris said,

‘After a challenging 18 months during the pandemic, we (like everyone) are looking forward to a positive future. ‘Cathodic’ is a company who I have been connected to for a large period of my life, and at the core of the business is the team of employees who are as equally as passionate about moving the business forward as I am. I’d like to thank Rob for his efforts, support, and commitment to leaving the company well placed to face any future challenges.'
