Rustrol Cathodic Isolators

AC MITIGATION - SURGE & LIGHTNING PROTECTION / CATHODIC ISOLATORS
 
The Cathodic Isolator developed by ICCC is used to provide safe and effective lightning and surge protection at the external isolation between a cathodically protected structure and the station earth systems or other foreign structures.

 
 
The Cathodic Isolator can also be used to mitigate induced AC on pipelines as shown below, improving safety and eliminating the potential risk of AC corrosion.
 
 
 
 

 
Selection of the Cathodic Isolator is dependent upon a number of factors including:-

- AC fault current exposure
- Surge/lightning protection
- Voltage
- Mitigation of induced AC selection
