Forty-Five Transformer Rectifiers for the Middle East

Work on 45 oil-cooled transformer rectifiers for client Liwa Petroleum is nearing completion at CPCL’s premises in Grantham.

The thyristor-controlled TRs, in their mild steel enclosures, each have 2 reference inputs and constant current, voltage and auto potential; 50V / 50A; 3 phase 440V AC and each features a utility socket to ensure that connected laptops never run out of battery power.

Testing of the units is currently in progress before they will be shipped out to Abu Dhabi at the end of July.
